A month ago we were still speculating if we can go on holiday this summer and it turned out to be one of the best vacations!
We were supposed to fly to Mallorca but decided to drive to Croatia instead and rent an appartment with pool, we booked one of the Pax Houses near Krk and from there within 30 minutes drive visted several beaches. The sea at Croatia is wonderful, look at this crystal clear blue water!
When we visited this beach close to city of Vrbnik called Beach Potovosce, I was wearing this light yellow dress from ARKET.
It is so light and comfy, it can be worn as beach dress as well as casual evening dress when styled differently.
Many of you asked how was the covid situation in Croatia, at Krk island where we went the atmosphere was relaxed, everyone wore mask at supermarkets, shops while in restaurants and beach bars only the waiters did. We all got used to this routine by now.
We found less crowded beaches and keeping distance was not an issue. Also, it was good having a private pool at our rental house, as we could spend half day just between us and the other half at the beach and to visit the old towns in the evening. It was about finding the right balance and I must say we enjoyed this holiday a lot despite the current circumstances.
